An injury assessment & rehabilitation session is perfect to help you understand your issue and allow us to work in a collaborative manner to restore you back to better than ever!


Sports therapists only helping athletes is a misconception. Allow me to help you with that random pain that won't leave you alone or allow me to help you with a new or old injury!


A typical session will follow this pattern: A subjective and objective assessment to find the root cause. Then into some immediate tailored treatment to provide some relief for your problem. Finally a bespoke rehabilitation plan will be coached and prescribed to follow from home to progress you through your problem and reduce chance of reoccurrence!

Subjective Assessment

An In-depth conversation with you in order to establish the problem at hand.


This involves questioning on information such as: Pain type/severity, Location and Mechanism of the Injury. Other factors that can influence injury can be age, occupation, sleep and loads more.


Its my job to use the relevant information to give me and yourself an understanding on what the problem at hand is before having a proper look!

Objective Assessment

This section of the assessment helps us to understand your body which is essential to kick-start your recovery!


It includes:

  1. A quick observation (looking for any abnormalities/posture and/or gait)
  2. Relevant movement screening and strength testing
  3. Special tests to help rule in or out specific bodily structures or injuries


Every Injury and every body is different, which is why the subjective and objective assessment paired together is important to help find the root cause and find a solution for you!

Short Term Treatment

Following the assessment, a period of treatment can be used to decrease short/long term pain and/or help to restore function previously reduced by injury.


Reduced Range of Movement (ROM) or Troublesome Pain? Quick and effective treatment can be utilised to help you!

Rehabilitation Program

A personalised rehabilitation program catered to your needs - made to revive function and increase strength to prevent reoccurrence of the injury!


Depending on what stage of the injury or problem you are in, specific exercises can be given, coached and programmed for you to allow you to progress towards recovery whilst at home!


As you get better at the exercises, and symptoms progress - rehabilitation plans can also be progressed following reassessment to get you back to your desired needs!
